MEET THE FOUNDER
As technology evolves, healthcare evolves, and I’m seeing more and more nurses wanting to get involved in the evolution.
Hey, I’m Amanda — I started Nurses In Tech because I fully believe nurses shouldn’t be left out of the conversation when it comes to healthcare technology.
During a time when my health impacted my ability to work, I discovered a deep passion for improving healthcare delivery to vulnerable populations by utilizing my skills to transition into a role in technology.
It wasn’t easy, to be honest. But I was fueled by my dreams of making a positive difference in patient care, healthcare, and nursing, and if Nurses In Tech existed back then, my life would have been a whole lot easier.
The NIT community is everything I needed then and more, and that’s because I would have been surrounded by like-minded nurses ready to support me, empower me, and answer all my questions.

Pay the annual fee
After your free call, the next step is to pay the annual community fee, which helps us cover the costs of maintaining our platform and organizing events and activities for our members throughout the year.

How do I know this is the right community for me?
If you're a nurse with an interest in technology, innovation, and healthcare, then our community is the right place for you. We're a community of nurses who are passionate about leveraging technology to improve patient outcomes, and we welcome nurses of all backgrounds and experience levels. Our community is a supportive environment where you can connect with like-minded individuals, share your knowledge, and advance your career in healthcare technology.
How do I know if this community can truly help me?
Our community is designed to provide you with the resources, support, and connections you need to succeed in healthcare technology as a nurse. We offer a variety of events, workshops, and webinars that are tailored to meet the needs of nurses at every stage of their careers. Our members have access to exclusive resources, tools, and opportunities that are designed to help them advance their careers and achieve their goals.
What if I don’t have time to join the community calls?
We understand that our members have busy schedules, so we strive to offer flexible options to make it easier for you to participate in our community calls. If you can't attend a call live, we record most of our events and make them available to our members to watch at their convenience.
What if I’m nervous about being on camera during the community calls?
We understand that not everyone is comfortable being on camera, and we respect your privacy. While we encourage our members to participate in our community calls with video, we understand that some members may prefer to participate with audio only. We also offer opportunities for members to participate in our community through our online platform, where you can connect with other members, access previously recorded resources, and participate in discussions without being on camera at all.
Can I join if I'm not a nurse?
Of course, we LOVE working with ALL healthcare professions, but since nurses often feel forgotten in conversations around technology, we wanted to create a community solely for nurses that elevates our collective nursing voice.
